Job Details

• Type: Part-time volunteer
• Reports to: Trainer Manager
• Term: 5 months (1 cohort)

Full Description

• Must be proficient in the topic of training.
• No previous training experience is required.
• Collaborates with Lead Trainer to discuss expectations and to plan for session.

• Minimum involvement expectations:

  • Attend training session.
  • Monitor chat and answer questions. Make Lead trainer aware of questions that you’re unable to assist with.
  • Monitor hand raises and make sure learners’ have chance to ask questions.
  • Jump into breakout rooms to troubleshoot one-off technical issues with learners.
  • Jump into breakout rooms to catch a group of learners up.
  • Other involvement depends on the Lead Trainer
• Provides feedback on the learners post training.
• Assists during a 4 hour, 8 hour or 11 hour (1.5 day) training session.
• Trainings are held on Mondays & Fridays from 9 to 5 CT.
• Class size is max 20 learners
• Trainings are virtual and via Teams.
• Provides TechFluent leadership with feedback on the program so that we can continue to improve.

Time Commitment

• Depends on Training facilitation time + prep time
• Attends prep session pre-cohort kickoff (approx. one 90-minute meeting)
• Attends retrospective post-cohort graduation (approx. one 60-minue meeting)
• Attends trainer/learner meet and greet meeting
• Attending Cohort Kick-Off and Graduation ceremonies are optional but encouraged
